Welcome to The Birdnest.
The Birdnest is an in-home photo studio equipped with a backdrop stand, a basic lighting kit, and has an open floorplan to accomodate a variety of setups. The peaked ceilings and quirky corners add an interesting element of visual interest, while the flexibility of the space allows for a clean, anonymous backdrop -- whichever is best suited to the shoot.
This space has proved ideal for everything from portraits and group shots to product photography, music sessions, and more. Whether you're coming in to sit for a shoot or as a fellow photographer, the room is absolutely configure-able to suit (y)our needs.
Also, once I can procure a few bean bags, the "lounge" area is going to be totally killer. If you have any that you're willing to trade for some work, please let me know!
Dimensions: exact dimensions coming... decent size, plus a small lounge area.
Ceiling height: almost 10' at peak
Extras: attached changing room, skylight, furniture props / entire house at our disposal (full bath, kitchen, etc.)
Backdrops: 8' white paper, large black cloth, or bring your own!
